Glitches in the Matrix #1

 

People have been experiencing strange things or “glitches” in the Matrix. This might have to do with the world ending in 2012. We are definitely not in the same reality as before, and things can get strange and even scary for those affected by these glitches.

Here are a few of these stories:

The Doppelganger

 A man and his wife went out to dinner one night. When they arrived home, he opened the door to find his wife sitting at the computer. This is something he seen every day coming home from work, and he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him.

Later that night, as they were getting ready for bed, he mentioned what he saw to his wife. That’s when she shocked and confused him when she admitted she too saw herself at the computer.

The Ice Cream Birth Mark

 Someone once spilled chocolate ice cream on their leg, and when they wiped it away they discovered a pale brown splotch on their skin where the ice cream had been. They tried wiping the splotch away, but it wouldn’t go anywhere. When they told their mother about this, their mother told them it was a birthmark.

However, until the day they spilled the ice cream, they never had a birthmark, and have no memories of the mark either.

Transforming Hotel Room

While vacationing with their family the author of this one claims that they checked into a hotel with their loved ones. At the time the room consisted of two beds, a washroom, and a large mirror across from the beds. Everyone in the room went to sleep but the author, who had stayed up late playing games. They went to bed around two in the morning that night. However, when they woke in the morning they noticed something was off. The mirror was gone, the room had two bedrooms with three beds as well. They were the only one in the room to notice this change and when they mentioned it, all their loved ones thought they lost their mind.

Time Stood Still

  When this person was a teenager, they had a bizarre experience that they could never explain. They were in their room and decided to go make a sandwich in the kitchen. They glanced at the clock on the way out and it said 6:48pm. They went to the kitchen, made their sandwich, got some chips, and a drink. All of this took them at least ten minutes. When they returned to their bedroom they were confused to find the clock still reading 6:48pm. They stared at the clock in confusion, until it turned to 6:49pm.

Fishy Experience

 A single man worked as a vendor at a fish market. One morning this man got out of bed, got dressed, had a tea, and went to the docks. Where he purchased his fish, and remembers vividly doing his entire routine before going to sell his fish. He had conversations with friends, smoked, counted money, paid the stall rent, and went home. When home he did his nightly routine of eating dinner and relaxing before going to bed, ready and eager to do it all again in the morning.

When he woke up the next morning, he was in bed next to his wife and it was a Saturday. Turns out he’s a married man who has never worked as a fish vendor a day of his life. Yet, somehow this man lived out the events of an alternate life in which he’s single and sells fish.
